The SAPA-China 2022 International Medical Device Frontier Technology Innovation and Cooperation Summit opened on Sept 2 in Suzhou High-Tech Zone. Experts, scholars and industry leaders from the world’s top scientific research institutions attended the summit to gather and integrate high-end industrial resources, seize development opportunities and promote industrial innovation cluster construction to create a better future. Hu Qing, CEO of PTCA balloon dilatation catheter manufacturer KosselMedtech, served as chair of the sub-forum on Clinical Applications and Market Analysis of Interventional High Plant Consumables.

Zhang Hua, director of the Office of Clinical Drug Experiment Institution of the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University, shared the theme “Key Points of clinical research and on-site verification of implanted devices”. Zhang said the development of medical devices in Suzhou could not be achieved without clinical support..He hoped that enterprises in Suzhou could cooperate with local clinical clinics to complete high-quality clinical studies.
Dr. Liu Bo, Senior Technical Manager of SGS China Medical Device, gave a speech on “CE Certification Requirements Analysis of interventional medical devices under MDR”. Liu Bo said: Chinese device companies should go out and compete internationally.
